To go process is terrible . I would rather you tell me 45 minutes and the food be on time than tell me 25 minutes just to wait in your restraunt for 20 minutes . I would absolutely wait 45 minutes every time for the food . Hope you can improve

Love this place. Great Hibachi food at a good price. Highly recommended. A change from the other Hibachi restaurants which offer cooking the food at the table. No show but good food and the white sauce!

I have been enjoying Typhoons excellent prices, consistently prepared food (that’s ALWAYS delicious) and their huge portions since I was in high school in the late 80’s!

Best Hibachi Place in the Chattanooga area. Their White Sauce is the best.I usually order to go and the Large Chicken is more than I can eat in one sitting. The Chicken and Steak is great as well. Sometimes I just order the small meal to go and it's still plenty of food, as you see below. The large portion is the entire to go box full. Great Food & Great Price

Came to Chattanooga to hike some of the beautiful loops here. Came off the mountain starving and decided on this place by the good reviews. They did not disappoint. Was amazing with good portions and awesome staff. I highly recommend.

This is a Teriyaki focused restaurant. If you want traditional Hibachi, you must request no Teriyaki sauce and cooked with soy sauce only!. Other than that, everything was good.

This is our new favorite hibachi, it's delicious! Honestly it's better than many expensive sit-down places. I even wanted the teriyaki chicken for our Anniversary. The portions are huge, it's always fresh, and they are so fast. I recommend Typhoon Tokyo to all of my friends and family!

I've been eating at Typhoons of Tokyo since they first opened almoat 30 years ago. I'm a loyal customer...even though I no longer live just down the street. The food is excellent, portions are huge & staff is very friendly.

Can a restaurant be a "best kept secret" if it's been around for 32 years and everyone in town knows it's the best? If so, Typhoon of Tokyo is a best kept secret.

Was introduced to this place 20 plus years ago when I worked downtown. These days I don't often find myself in Red Bank at lunch time but when I do it's a treat. Nothing fancy. Just good Hibachi fare without the show or price. A+

This is usually a great place to come get great food quickly. But this time, they forgot our order. Ok, that happens. It should have taken about 5 minutes, based off everyone around, to get our food. It took about 35 minutes from when we ordered. The manager never came and spoke to us. Our server, who was great through it all, but only a kid, was the only one we got to talk to about it. I realized things go wrong sometimes, but how you handle it says a lot.

Good service, food is hit or miss. Sometimes it taste old and dry. The dining area looks very nice though. Very relaxing.

When traveling from WV to TN we stopped at the Typhoon on the 15th for dinner. Food was great, nice clean restaurant. We had a delightful young man wait on us. He was very friendly, big smile and quickly waited on us. He made sure our drinks were refilled as needed. Wonderful service.

I loved this place for years, but I am vegan now, and when I ordered the veggie plate with no eggs in my rice, I came across beef and chicken in the rice. Feel like I would want a refund or something, but couldn’t find e-mail contact and they are closed now. So basically, not vegan or veg friendly- like they literally put meat into things that don’t even have it as part of the menu if you get all veg items.

Good food, inexpensive, generous portions, fast service.This is the place I go to pick up take out when either my wife or I am sick. Their hibachi dishes are tasty and satisfying. If you haven't been, I recommend getting the small chicken dinner with a side of gyoza. Excellence.

8 cars waiting for there orders, 2 1/2 hours before close, sat in a line for 30 minutes to be told your not taking orders because you have people waiting for orders already o.0 wasn't sold out, just busy.. 8 cars equals 8 tables in a restaurant at dinner time? I would have waited 2 1/2 hours If you told me too... so, I had to make a mad dash to SOHO hibachi, they stayed open 5 extra minutes and gave me a spring roll.. not being insensitive but businesses are closing, probably should improve your planning and service

The service was great but the food was some of the most bland I have ever tasted, even with sauces. It was a busy lunch spot and many seem to like it so I say at least try for yourself. It just wasn't for me.

Get the carry out and get to eating some good food

It was alright my rice was crunchy and I only seen my waitress one time. They should hire more, she literally took our order and that's it no refills or anything she didn't even check on us. Plus they dont serve Lo Mein anymore so I won't be back.

I've road past this place a million times but finally stopped. It is so good and so worth the drive. Also inexpensive this is my second day here in a row!! Think I've found my new favorite Japanese spot😋😋

It's ok I feel they use lower quality meat cuts for the chicken

I have been eating at Typhoon sense they first opened...long time ago and in a different location. I suspect that there may be a new owner but the food is better than ever. Be sure and ask for extra sauce.

Ordered this Togo because it had suck high reviews and I am severely disappointed in the quality of the food! The chicken in my chicken teriyaki is FULL of FAT and very blubbery, the steak in the steak and shrimp is the cheapest cut possible! I will definitely not be returning the food is gross and low quality!

Worst service, experience, and food! If you're looking for good hibachi I would not recommend this place.
